Short and Long Vowel Sounds

I first think about what is short vowel and what is long vowel.
then I try to find much short ones as I can after that I find all of the long vowels and finally I post it to blog!

We have to make slide and write the sounds on it.
Every day we will have to write one sound.

Reading and Writing Whole Numbers

My Reflection

I wrote the number on the calculator and I turn it upside down then I a photo and put it in.  After that I figure out the answer with the introduction and wrote it down

I can read numbers in written form

I can read numbers in written form e.g. two hundred and one = 201
I can read numbers in expanded form e.g 3000 + 40 + 7 = 3047

it is kind of hard because the last question is quite tricky.

Subtracting using tidy numbers

I had to write the numbers below the number line I use the number line to help me I write my numbers in the correct order then checked if it's right.

I first read the book then I answer the questions,before,during and after, then I chose what kind of  questions is it after that I carefully reed the book again then I started the Non-Fiction Text Features,some of them are a bit hard but I did my best even tho I just leave some blank because I don't know it. lastly I post it to blog. there is four kind of questions it is right there,think and search, author and me and on my own and questions are colored in to different colors!

My Reflection
I first transport the Yoda speak into the normal  language , then I use Yoda speak to make a poem about the 3'rs .it was a bit hard because I have to use a language that I don't know!I wonder if I'll do it faster next time!

I could do this by my self.
I found this easy because it was only counting numbers from smallest to largest.

Welcome to my learning blog for year 5 in 2017.This year I am in room 25.My teacher is Miss Fisher.I enjoy doing art and writing. My goal for this year is be better at reading I am looking forward to be the same as other children I hope you enjoy my blog and leave some feedback for me.
